COVID-19 Information

Precautions are being taken throughout Southern California to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. At this time, there are NO known cases of COVID-19 on our campus or in Idyllwild, California. To ensure the health of our students and our mountain community, there will be no students on campus from March 17 through April 18. Our students are taking a three week spring break beginning on March 14, followed by two weeks of online instruction. Arts as well as academic online classes are being offered to continue student engagement in IAA’s unique dual-curricular, accredited programs.

As the virus spreads around the globe, most schools are facing closures and quarantines. As the largest international residential high school on the west coast, Idyllwild Arts chose to act quickly to ensure that students could travel home to their families if COVID-19 was suspected in Idyllwild or on our campus.

We are still hosting tours on campus and our staff and faculty are available to meet with families interested in learning more about the Academy and Summer Program. If you are interested in applying to Idyllwild Arts Academy, please contact Tara Sechrest at or 951-468-7223. If you are interested in attending the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program, please contact Summer Program registration at 951-659-2171 x2360
