A Message To Our Visitors

On March 13, Riverside County Health Department in conjunction with Riverside County Department of Education announced that all public, private, and parochial schools were to close for two weeks. On March 17, they extended the school closures until April 30. On March 19, Governor Gavin Newsome issued a Stay at Home order for all of California. This order is in place “until further notice”.

There are NO known cases of COVID-19 on our campus or in Idyllwild, California. At this time, students are on Spring Break. When school resumes on April 6, Arts as well as academic online classes are being offered to continue student engagement in IAA’s unique dual-curricular, accredited programs.

Since the novel coronavirus began to spread across California, so many of you have reached out to express your concern for our students and support of the decisions we have made to keep our students, school, and town safe. The global pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. Our hearts go out to anyone who has been directly or indirectly impacted by COVID-19.

If you are interested in applying to Idyllwild Arts Academy, please contact Tara Sechrest at tsechrest@idyllwildarts.org or 951-468-7223. If you are interested in attending the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program, please contact Summer Program registration at 951-659-2171 x2360
