A Message To Our Visitors
The first-class care provided by Student Services will include testing and health screening upon arrival, daily health screening, additional testing four days after arrival, and more. Once all students have spent two weeks on campus under the strictest precautions, they will be grouped into “families” in their dorms, enabling them to exercise fewer precautions within these groups. Outside their designated groups, students will be free to socialize with anyone on campus as long as they observe our precautions. These could change as circumstances around the coronavirus change, but precautions are likely to include physical distancing and face covering.
The following professionals making up the Idyllwild Arts Medical Advisory Group will subject the precautions to ongoing review in order to make sure that they change or remain the same as needed:
Wasef Y. Atiya, MD, Hemet Valley Medical Center (lead)
Brenda Scherlis, NP, Idyllwild Health Center
Richard Goldberg, MD, Emergency Medicine (retired)
Mark LaMont, Paramedic, Chief, Idyllwild Fire
Emily White, RN, Idyllwild Arts School Nurse
Don Lamp, RN, Idyllwild Arts Health Center Director
