Kyle Thomas is from Los Angeles California and is an Idyllwild Arts Class of 2000 grad. He earned his degree from Maryland Institute College of Art majoring in Painting with a minor in Drawing and Community Arts Partnerships.
While in Baltimore he oversaw the cities mural programs as assistant to the Director of “Access Art”, A non-profit providing art outreach to inner city youth.
After college Mr. Thomas created commercial art campaigns for numerous corporate clients including: Xbox, Coca-Cola, Food Network, & The Grammy’s.
He has painted large-scale murals in cities Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, Detroit, Nashville, New Orleans & Mexico City.
His fine art & paintings/drawings have been shown in and collected by major institutions such as The El Segundo Museum of Art, The Hammer private collection, LACMA, OK Harris NY, & The Getty Libercorium collection.
Kyle teaches Painting, Drawing, and The Art of Murals.
