New Music Concert
On Saturday and Sunday, the Idyllwild Arts Orchestra (and guests) premiered three works at the Idyllwild Elementary School and again on Monday at the Herbert Zipper Concert Hall at The Colburn School in Los Angeles. The three world premieres were of the reconstructed score of Claude Debussy’s No-Ja-Li “The Palace of Silence”, “Moving, Still” composed and conducted by Peter Askim and “Swan Song” composed by Richard Danielpour and conducted by Ransom Wilson. “A Fool’s Paradise” by Richard Danielpour was also performed at the concert. Thank you to the Idyllwild Arts Academy Orchestra for an amazing concert, and to Vance and Jeremy for the photos.
