Grammys 2007
Two of our students attended the 2007 Grammy Award Ceremony. Thanks to Chelsea for the photos! As it turns out, two Idyllwild Arts Summer Program alumni walked away with 3 Grammys total. Congratulations to Michael Tilson Thomas and to Peter Rutenberg!

Children of Men
The screenwriters for the movie “Children of Men” were on campus Saturday to talk to the Moving Pictures department. The Moving Pictures students attended the charity screening of “Children of Men” in December and have since read the original book by PD James and the screenplay and were able to discuss the adaptation with writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. The People Versus “B.B.” Wolfe
On Tuesday evening, the Theatre department performed “The People Versus ‘B.B.’ Wolfe” – book, lyrics and music by Howard Shangraw with additional music and arrangements by Nelms McKelvain. This production was the inaugural play of the new “Theatre For Young Audiences” aspect of the Theatre Department that will be touring local elementary and middle schools in the area.
