Chemistry Lab
On Saturday, Christie’s Chemistry Lab conducted Flame Tests. Each element emits unique colors when heated. Students observed the characteristic colors of six elements, and used their data to identify an unknown substance. They then calculated the energy of the light photons they had witnessed. College Fair
Kids packed the Fireside Room of Nelson Hall the entire time from 1:00 – 3:00. Along with many Idyllwild Arts students, we had a number of non Idyllwild Arts students and their parents come up, (including a family that visited from as far away as San Diego). A total of seventeen schools sent representatives for our College Fair. Way to go Karen and Jonathan for a great afternoon! Thank you to Vance for the photos.
