Jim Henson Company Tour
Thanks to summer alumna Halle Stanford,
the Theatre Design and Production students toured The Jim
Henson Company in Hollywood last Friday. The group toured
the grounds which occupy the former Charlie Chaplin studio.
All were delighted to see the production areas for their
motion capture animation and the Henson Creature Shop. The
day rounded out with a viewing of Mirrormask in their screening
room. Everyone left feeling inspired and excited by what
they saw. Thanks also to Bret Nelson, another summer alumnus
and Henson employee, who helped with our tour. Thank you
to Bella for the photos.

Carolyn’s Retirement Luncheon
Carolyn Lowman, long time beloved faculty member, will retire
from teaching at the end of the school year in early June
this year. To honor her, faculty and staff members held
a faculty lunch in her honor. Many stories were shared,
tears were shed, and smiles abounded. Thank you to Carolyn
for all you have done for so many people and thank you to
Darren and Theresa for the photos.
