24 Hours of Adrenaline
From noon on Saturday, September 24 until noon on Sunday, September 25 bike racers raced around Hurkey Creek, just outside of Idyllwild. The Idyllwild Arts participants were Todd Carpenter, Theatre faculty and Eric Bulrice, senior Theatre major. Todd and Eric both rode solo, which means they rode their bikes for the entire 24 hours around the track. Eric placed 8th in the men’s solo category and Todd placed 1st in the same category. The Java Lounge of Idyllwild was at 24 hours of Adrenaline as a vendor and donated 10% of the weekend’s proceeds to the Alexis Echavarria Fund here at Idyllwild Arts. Todd and Eric were also raising money for the Alexis Echavarria fund. The total amount that was raised was just over $650. Way to go!
