Portfolio Day
On Saturday, October 8th the Visual Art seniors and some juniors attended National Portfolio Day at Cal Arts. Portfolio Day is an incredible chance for the visual artists to have their portfolios reviewed by the schools they are interested in, and to find out about schools they weren’t thinking of applying to. Over 40 schools are represented at National Portfolio Day. Thank you Nelms for taking these photos and for accompanying the students to Cal Arts.

Disaster Drill
On Tuesday, October 11, we held our Fall Disaster Drill. Students were told that there was an emergency and were given orders to go directly to Husch Field. At Husch Field, students gathered in groups according to dorms (day students all gathered with the day student coordinator) and as soon as all students in a group were accounted for they were led to the basketball court. At the court the students learned they would be evacuated by buses and vans in the case of a real emergency. The drill was at 9:45am and was over by 10:45am.
