Creative Writing Master Class
On Tuesday afternoon, Shane Etzenhouser and Brukty Tigabu, the creators of Ethiopia’s Whiz Kids Workshop and writer/artist/producers of “Tsehai Loves Learning” a popular children’s television show in Ethiopia were in Idyllwild to hold a masterclass for our Creative Writing students. They screened and discussed an episode of their program, a collaboration with Save the Children, that focuses on issues faced by children orphaned and affected by AIDS. Thank you to Shane and Brukty for sharing their experiences with us and to Mary Metcalf-Collier for the photos.
